- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth divided
- 8 oz cream cheese softened and cubed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta broken in half
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water if needed to thin sauce
